Penn State women’s cross country to compete for national title

After repeating as the Mid-Atlantic Regional champions on Friday, the Nittany Lions have secured an automatic berth in the 2016 NCAA Cross Country Championships.

This will be Penn State’s 20th appearance at the event and seventh in the past eight seasons.

The championships will be held Saturday at Indiana State. The women’s race is set to start at 11 a.m.
