Penn State swimming receives academic recognition

Penn State was among 638 teams from 394 institutions named College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Teams.

The awards are given to programs with a grade-point average of 3.0 for the fall semester. The women’s team posted a 3.41 GPA, while the men registered a 3.02.

Overall, the CSCAA saw 73 percent of its programs hit the 3.0 mark or higher, including 91 percent of the women’s programs.
