Penn State tops Lindenwood in women’s hockey

Laura Bowman scored two goals to lead Penn State past Lindenwood 4-1 on Friday night.

Meike Meilleur and Sarah Nielsen each scored once for the Nittany Lions. Amy Petersen assisted on both of Bowman’s goals, which gave Penn State a 2-1 lead after the first period.

Penn State goalie Hannah Ehresmann made 24 saves.

The Nittany Lions finish their series with Lindenwood at 2 p.m. Saturday.
