Women’s basketball

Page earns spot on Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll

Penn State junior guard Teniya Page was one of three conference players to earn a spot on this past week’s Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll after her efforts against Rutgers.

Against the Scarlet Knights, Page scored 34 points — including hitting 4 of 5 free throws in the final second — to lift the Lady Lions to a 70-67 win over the ranked team.

This is her second such honor of the season and the seventh of her career.

Men’s gymnastics

Frack named Freshman of the Week

Penn State freshman Alex Frack was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week on Monday after collecting three podium finishes against No. 12 Army West Point.

He finished first on the high bar (13.700), third on the pommel horse (13.550) and third on the parallel bars (13.650).
