Nittany Lion freshmen fencers shine at NAC

The Penn State men’s fencing team found success in the second day of the January North American Cup.

Freshmen Anton Piskovatskov and Sam Freiman finished 10th and 16th, respectively, in epee. Freiman competed unattached.

On the women’s side, Kasey Iverson was 66th in foil, while Najiyyah Clark and Desree Ortega-Furgeson tied for 91st and 130th, respectively. Each athlete fenced attached.

On Sunday, the team will compete in the third day of competition.
