Kidder earns conference honor after setting NCAA record

Penn State’s Brannon Kidder was selected as the Big Ten Men’s Track Athlete of the Week on Wednesday.

Kidder set an NCAA record in the 1,000-meter run at the Nittany Lion Challenge last Saturday, finishing with a time of 2:18.26.

The Nittany Lions are set to host the Penn State National from Jan. 29-30.
