Glen, Juha named Senior CLASS Award nominees

Penn State players David Glen and Luke Juha were named among 20 nominees for the men’s hockey 2015-16 Senior CLASS Award on Friday.

This is the first time a Penn State men’s hockey player has been nominated for the award.

To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be a senior and achieve excellence in four areas: community, classroom, character and competition.

Glen is Penn State’s captain, and was named the 2013-14 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree following his bone marrow donation. Juha is an alternate captain, and a Hobey Baker Award nominee.

The list of 20 players will be trimmed to 10 in February for the official ballot. The Senior CLASS Award winner will be announced during the 2016 Men’s Frozen Four in April.
