Nittany Lion fencers dominate at Duke

DURHAM, N.C.

The Penn Stae men’s team went undefeated and the women’s team lost just once at Duke.

The Nittany Lion men beat Notre Dame 16-11, Duke 15-12, Johns Hopkins 25-2, North Carolina 21-6 and Brandeis 23-4.

The Nittany Lions captured victories over Brandeis (18-9), Duke (19-8), North Carolina (19-8) and Temple (18-9) and fell to Notre Dame (11-16).

Penn State picked up epee titles on both the men’s and women’s side, and the men also led the way in sabre.
