Penn State blanks Lindenwood

Penn State goalie Celine Whitlinger made 23 saves to lead her team to a 3-0 win over Lindenwood on Friday.

Shannon Yoxheimer scored two goals, and Laura Bowman added a goal for the Nittany Lions.

Penn State’s Victoria Samuelsson and Remi Martin each had two assists.

The Nittany Lions (10-16-5, 6-6-5) host Lindenwood (7-20-4, 4-9-4) at 2 p.m. Saturday.
