PSU takes 5th at Big Ten Match Play

Penn State earned a 3.5-2.5 win over Minnesota to finish fifth at the Big Ten Match Play on Saturday.

The Nittany Lions fell 5-1 to Michigan State in their third-round matchup earlier in the day. Chris Houston earned Penn State’s lone win against the Spartans.

Geoff Vartelas, Houston and Christian Elliott each picked up wins for Penn State against Minnesota.
