PSU tops Bucknell, James Madison in men’s tennis
Penn State earned a pair of wins Saturday, dropping Bucknell 6-1 before a 7-0 victory over James Madison at the Penn State Tennis Center.
Against the Bison, singles wins came from Leo Stakhovsky, Aws Laaribi, Matt Barry, Tomas Hanzlik and David Kohan. In doubles, Kohan and Christian Kutschaunig earned a 6-2 win, and Penn State duo Toman Trkulja and Matt Galush won 6-1.
Against James Madison, Stakhovsky, Laaribi, Barry, Hanzlik, Ben Lieb and Constant De la Bassetiere each won to sweep the singles matches for the Nittany Lions. Kohan and Kutschaunig, Stakhovsky and Barry and Trkulja and Galush all won their doubles matches.
The Nittany Lions (6-0) host Cornell at noon Saturday.
