Penn State men’s lacrosse rallies past Hobart
Penn State scored nine goals in the final 11 minutes to beat Hobart 17-12 at Holuba Hall on Saturday.
TJ Sanders, Ryan Keenan and freshman Grant Ament each scored three goals to lead the Nittany Lions (2-0), and Matt Florence and Dan Craig each added a pair of goals. Brian Prestreau, Kevin Fox, Billy Lombardi and Mike Sutton netted one goal apiece.
The Statesmen (0-1) held an 11-8 lead 12 seconds into the fourth quarter after rolling off four straight scores before Penn State mounted its comeback.
Will Schreiner made eight saves for the win.
Penn State hits the road next weekend to visit Cornell.
