PSU’s Knief among candidates for Senior CLASS Award
Penn State’s Lexi Knief is among 30 players being considered for the Senior CLASS Award, it was announced Friday.
The award is given to a senior who has “notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition,” according to a press release.
There will be 10 finalists, and the award winner will be announced at the Women’s College World Series.
Knief is hitting .292 and has scored a team-high six runs in seven games this season.
