Men’s golf edges Michigan State

The Nittany Lions narrowly edged Michigan State 364-368 in an NCAA stroke play match on Saturday on the Cypress Creek Course at the Champions Golf Club.

Penn State’s Charles Huntzinger and Christian Elliott finished first and second with rounds of 68 and 71, respectively.

JD Dornes, Cole Miller and Chris Houston rounded out Penn State’s group, all shooting a 75.

The Nittany Lions hit the links again for the Seminole Intercollegiate in Tallahassee, Fla., from March 11-13.
