Penn State fell 9-3 to Mississippi State on Tuesday.
Lexi Knief doubled and six others had singles for the Nittany Lions (9-11), and Marlaina Laubach (4-3) took the loss, giving up five hits and three runs over three innings.
The Bulldogs racked up nine hits off three Penn State pitchers and also took advantage of four Lion errors to contribute to four unearned runs.
Amanda Ivy was 3 for 3 with a double and three RBIs to pace the Bulldogs (17-3). Her two-run single in a four-run fourth inning put her team in control of the game.
