Penn State women’s golf opens season at Clover Cup

Penn State opened its spring season Friday, recording a 13-over in the first round of the Notre Dame Clover Cup.

The Nittany Lions are tied for ninth place with Nebraska. Texas Christian leads at 4-under.

Jackie Rogowicz is tied for 13th at even-par. She finished with a team-high four birdies. Ariana Coyle Diez (3-over) is tied for 34th, Halley Morell (4-over) sits in a tie for 41st and Grace Chung and Lauren Waller are tied for 49th after shooting 5-over. Cara Basso (9-over) is tied for 76th.

The tournament continues Saturday.
