PSU golfer sits atop leaderboard at Kingsmill Intercollegiate

Penn State’s Charles Huntzinger recorded a 6-under 64 on Monday to add to his lead at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate.

Huntzinger is 9-under for the tournament and owns a six-shot lead over Texas Christian’s Paul Barjon. The Nittany Lions are tied for first place with Tennessee at 9-over, while TCU is third at 15-over. Penn State recorded a 2-over 282 as a team Monday.

Penn State’s JD Dornes and Chris Houston are tied for 23rd (5-over), while Geoff Vartelas and Cole Miller are tied for 49th (9-over).

The tournament concludes Tuesday.
