Garcia earns All America honors at NCAA diving
Penn State diver Hector Garcia Boissier earned honorable mention All-America honors for his performance in Thursday’s competition at the NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships.
Garcia, a freshman, placed 15th on the 1-meter board, tallying 335.65 points in the B-final. His honorable mention is the program’s first since Adam Pierce in 2006.
Teammates Logan Knauss and Jack Crow placed 37th and 38th, respectively.
Garcia will compete in the 3-meter dive on Friday and on the platform on Saturday. Crow is also set to compete in the 3-meter event.
