Big Ten honors Penn State’s Keenan

Penn State’s Ryan Keenan was named the Big Ten’s co-Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.

The sophomore netted three goals and assisted on two others in a 15-10 upset of No. 1 Denver on Saturday, snapping the Pioneers’ 20-game win streak. The award was a first for Keenan and the fifth time this season the conference has honored a Nittany Lion.

Keenan shares the award with Maryland’s Connor Kelly.

The No. 18 Nittany Lions open Big Ten play Sunday at Ohio State.
