PSU softball announces schedule change for weekend series

The Penn State softball team has adjusted the schedule for its series against Michigan State this weekend due to expected inclement weather Sunday, the program announced Thursday.

Instead of playing Sunday, the teams will have a doubleheader Friday, with the first game set to start at 5 p.m. at Beard Field. The series finale will be Saturday at 3 p.m.

The Nittany Lions are 14-14 overall and 3-0 in the Big Ten this season, while Michigan State is 19-14 with a 1-2 conference record.
