Nittany Lion women’s golf team remains 14th

Penn State shot a 27-over 315 and remained in 14th place out of 15 teams at the Bryan National Collegiate after Saturday’s second round.

Virginia leads at 8-over 584. Penn State is at 58-over 634.

The Nittany Lions are led by Halley Morrell’s 12-over 156 total to tie for 52nd. She’s followed by Cara Basso (tie-56, 158), Lauren Waller (tie-58, 159), Jackie Rogowicz (tie-67, 161) and Ariana Coyle-Diaz (tie-72, 163).

Florida State’s Matilda Castren leads the field at 2-under 142. The tournament concludes Sunday.
