Lexi Knief went 3 for 4, scored three runs and drove in two more to help the Penn State softball team beat Indiana 13-3 on Friday.
The Nittany Lions scored in each of the last four innings en route to the win. Penn State took a 3-2 lead in the fourth inning when Knief scored on a wild pitch and Macy Jones drove in two runs on a single.
The Nittany Lions added four runs in the fifth inning on a pair of two-run singles by Knief and Erin Pond.
Mollie Sorenson finished 3 for 4 and scored three runs, and Jones went 2 for 3 and scored two runs for Penn State.
