Nittany Lions women’s golf starts strong at tournament
Penn State is in second place, sitting five strokes behind Harvard after two rounds Saturday at the River Landing Classic.
The Nittany Lions recorded a team score of 33-over, while Harvard sits atop the leaderboard at 33-over. Penn State’s Halley Morell shot 5-over, good for fourth place and five strokes behind the leader, Anne Cheng of Harvard.
Jackie Rogowicz (7-over, eighth), Lauren Waller (9-over, tied 13th), Cara Basso (12-over, tied 26th) Ariana Coyle Diez (17-over, tied 44th) and Grace Chung (19-over, tied 52nd) rounded out Penn State’s competitors.
The tournament concludes Sunday.
