Penn State ranked 10th in latest Directors’ Cup standings

In the latest Learfield Directors’ Cup standings, Penn State is ranked 10th, the athletic department announced in a press release Tuesday.

The Nittany Lions’ wrestling team earned 100 points toward the athletic program’s total after winning the national championship, the men’s and women’s fencing teams picked up 72 points after taking sixth at the NCAA Championships, the indoor track and field team recorded 39 points, and the men’s swimming and diving team tallied 15 points.

Stanford is in first place, Ohio State is in second, and Michigan sits in third.
