Johns Hopkins edges Penn State men’s lacrosse in overtime
John Crawley’s overtime goal lifted No. 17 Johns Hopkins to a 12-11 win over No. 14 Penn State on Sunday.
Penn State’s Matt Florence found the back of the net to tie the game 11-11 with 29 seconds left in the fourth quarter.
Nick Aponte finished with a game-high four goals for the Nittany Lions. Penn State goalie Will Schreiner made 12 saves, including seven in the fourth.
The Nittany Lions (7-5, 1-2) are set to face Rutgers on the road Friday at 8 p.m.
