Penn State earned the No. 2 seed and a bye into the semifinals of the Big Ten tournament, which will be held at Northwestern’s Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium.
The conference announced the tournament bracket Saturday, and the Nittany Lions will play the winner of a first-round matchup between third-seeded Northwestern and sixth-seeded Michigan in the semifinals. Penn State’s semifinal game will be Friday at 9 p.m.
Michigan and Northwestern are set to play Thursday at 2:30 p.m., and fourth-seeded Rutgers and fifth-seeded Ohio State will play in the other first-round game at noon.
No. 1 seed Maryland will face the Rutgers-Ohio State winner in the semfinals at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
The championship game will be played May 8 at 1 p.m.
