PSU’s Kaschak, Stanley earn Big Ten scholarships
Penn State’s Christian Kaschak and Rebecca Stanley have earned Big Ten Post-Graduate Scholarships, the conference announced Tuesday.
Kaschak, from the men’s soccer team, graduated with honors, earning a degree in kinesiology, and was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and a Schreyer Honors Scholar. He appeared in 43 games as a Nittany Lion.
Stanley collected more than 40 wins in epee with the fencing team and was an Academic All-Big Ten selection. She earned a degree in Politics: National Security Option, with minors in Global Security and Russian Area Studies.
The conference honors two students from each of the Big Ten’s 14 schools with a $7,500 scholarship, based primarily on academic achievements, who plan to continue their education at a graduate degree program.
