Penn State athletes post strong showings at NCAA finals
Penn State Track and Field athletes performed well at the NCAA Championships on Friday afternoon.
Triple-jumper Brian Leap finished his Penn State career with a jump of 16-13, good for sixth in the country. Isaiah Harris ran a lifetime-best 1:45.76 for a fourth-place finish in the 800-meter race. Brannon Kidder also finished fourth in the 1,500-meter race with a time of 3:40.67.
David Lucas finished 15th in the men’s discus with a throw of 55-12, and Lauren Kenney also took 15th in the women’s javelin with a throw of 48-81.
