Sanders named Scholar All-American for Penn State lacrosse
Penn State’s TJ Sanders was named a Scholar All-American on Tuesday by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.
The senior is the ninth Nittany Lion to earn the honor and fourth under head coach Jeff Tambroni. He is the first to earn the honor since Austin Kaut in 2014. The supply chain and information sciences major was a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar in both 2014 and 2015.
He scored in all but two games this past season, finishing with 28 goals and 15 assists.
