Women’s soccer announces two exhibition games

Before the defending national champions open its season, the Penn State women’s soccer team will host two exhibition matches, the program announced Thursday.

On Aug. 10, Penn State hosts Université du Québec à Montréal at 9 a.m., and will welcome Drexel at 1 p.m. on Aug. 14.

Both games will be played at Jeffrey Field with free admission.

Following the Drexel match, Penn State will host a youth clinic on the practice field along Park Avenue behind Jeffrey Field, which is also free. Kids 12-and-under are invited to attend.

The Nittany Lions open their regular season against West Virginia on Aug. 19 at Jeffrey Field.
