Big Ten honors Penn State field hockey player

After scoring two goals and dishing out three assists in two wins last week, Penn State’s Moira Putsch received Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors on Tuesday.

Putsch had two goals and one assist in a 6-2 win over No. 20 Old Dominion last Friday. She then had an assist in a 3-0 win over No. 5 Virginia on Sunday.

The Nittany Lions (2-0) take on Temple on the road at 6 p.m. Friday.
