Penn State announced its schedule for next spring on Monday, highlighted by another meeting with Texas Christian.
The Nittany Lions, who were swept by the Horned Frogs in a three-game series at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park last season, visit TCU on Feb. 17-19 to open the season. TCU played in the College World Series for a third straight year and fourth time in six seasons last June.
Penn State will then battle Xavier on Feb. 24-26 at the USA Baseball National Training Center in Cary, N.C., followed by road trips to Pacific (March 4-6), California-Davis (March 8) and Sacramento State (March 9-11). Two games at home against Delaware to open the home slate, and two on the road with the Blue Hens (March 16-19) follow.
Other home games include Bucknell (March 21), West Virginia (March 22), Columbia (March 24-26), Binghamton (March 28), Cornell (March 29), Ohio State (April 7-9), Bucknell (April 11), Pittsburgh (April 18), Northwestern (April 21-23), Lafayette (April 26), Minnesota (May 5-7) and Nebraska (May 18-20).
