Penn State baseball: Nittany Lions add 11 to their recruiting class

With a recruiting class that includes five from Pennsylvania, Penn State announced 11 young men gave their commitment to the Nittany Lions for the early signing period for National Letters of Intent.

The class includes infielder Willie Burger of Lancaster Catholic, middle infielder Connor Klemann of Spring-Ford, right-handed pitchers Eric Mock of Governor Mifflin and Eli Nabholz of Pottsville, and Punxsutawney catcher Ryan Sloniger.

The class of freshmen for the fall of 2015 also will include left-handed pitcher Brian George of Petersburg, West Virginia; right-handed pitcher Justin Hagenman of Vorhees, New Jersey; lefty Blake Hodgens of Tampa, Fla.; middle infielder Conlin Hughes of Holly Springs, North Carolina; outfielder Keith Leavitt of Manchester, Massachusetts; and outfielder Austin Riggins of Greer, South Carolina.
