Penn State baseball: Texas A&M keep Nittany Lions winless
Unbeaten Texas A&M unloaded for six extra-base hits and cruised to a 15-2 romp against Penn State on Saturday at Blue Bell Park.
The No. 16 Aggies (6-0) scored three times in the first inning and led 6-0 after three innings.
Christian Helsel had three hits for the Nittany Lions (0-5), while Tyler Kendall added two. The Nittany Lions committed four errors which led to five unearned runs.
G.R. Hinsley homered and 11 different players had a hit for the Aggies. Nick Distasio (0-2) allowed five hits, six runs (one earned), struck out two and walked two in four innings to take the loss.
The two teams meet again at 1 p.m. Sunday.
