Penn State baseball releases 2016 schedule
Penn State announced its 2016 schedule, highlighted by a visit from TCU, on Thursday.
The Nittany Lions open the season Feb. 19 against Monmouth as part of the USA Baseball Complex Tournament in Cary, N.C. They play their first 14 games away from home, a stretch that includes a three-game series at South Carolina (Feb. 26-28) and a game at Duke (March 9).
Penn State’s home opener is March 18 against Niagara, part of a three-game series. The Nittany Lions host TCU for three games (May 6-8) and finish their 26-game home schedule with a three-game series against Iowa (May 19-21).
The Big Ten tournament is set to start May 25 in Omaha, Neb.
