Sal Biasi had a strong outing on the mound as Penn State won its fourth straight game, and 16th in its last 20 outings, beating Northwestern 8-2 Saturday.
Biasi allowed just one run, one walk and four hits, striking out six, over 6 2/3 innings. Nick Distasio finished the game.
Greg Guers was 3 for 4 with two doubles and two RBIs to pace the offense, and NIck Riotto, Tyler Kendall and Connor Klemann also doubled.
A Jordan Bowersox RBI single and Klemann RBI double opened the scoring in the first inning. A four-run fifth saw a two-run double from Riotto, an RBI double for Guers, and Guers scored on the third balk of the inning by Wildcat pitchers. Guers added another RBI double in the seventh.

Willie Bourbon singled and doubled to pace the Wildcats (9-26, 2-9), and Dan Kubium took the loss.
The teams close the weekend series at 2 p.m. Sunday.
