Penn State’s Greg Guers wins NCBWA Division I Player of the Week

The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association has named Penn State senior outfielder Greg Guers as one of its two Player of the Week selections for the period ending on April 17.

Guers earned the Hitter of the Week honor from the association after batting .765 for the week and going 13 for 17 with eight RBIs, a home run, two doubles and five stolen bases alongside a .789 on-base percentage.
