Penn State’s Jack Anderson is one of 72 pitchers named to the watch list for the National Pitcher of the Year Award, presented by the National College Baseball Hall of Fame.
The senior reliever is one of six hurlers from the Big Ten on the list. The award will be given out July 2. Anderson (4-1) leads the nation with a 0.65 ERA in 41 1/3 innings, he owns the school record with 91 appearances and matched the school record with his 22nd career save on Sunday.
The Nittany Lions host Kent State on Wednesday.
