Penn State men’s basketball announces nonconference schedule

The Penn State men’s basketball team announced this season’s 13-game nonconference schedule Wednesday.

The Nittany Lions host Campbell in their season opener Nov. 10. Penn State also hosts Fairleigh Dickinson (Nov. 12), Montana (Nov. 15), Columbia (Nov. 17), Oral Roberts (Nov. 24), George Washington (Dec. 9), Binghamton, (Dec. 19), Rider (Dec. 22) and Coppin State (Dec. 30).

Penn State plays on the road against North Carolina State on Nov. 29 as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, and the Nittany Lions play at George Mason on Dec. 17.

Penn State is also set to play in the Legends Classic along with Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh and Texas A&M on Nov. 21-22 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The matchups have yet to be determined.

The Nittany Lions will also host Bloomsburg in an exhibition game Nov. 5.
