Penn State men’s basketball will not be playing Minnesota Wednesday night at the Bryce Jordan Center. The Nittany Lions’ game with the Golden Gophers has been postponed due to positive COVID-19 results within the Minnesota basketball program, according to a release from Penn State.

The Nittany Lions were previously on a pause of their own that led to the cancellation of non-conference games against Quinnipiac and VCU, and had a game against Delaware State canceled due to positive tests within the Hornets’ program.

This is the first conference matchup Penn State has had postponed and the two programs will work with the Big Ten on potential options to reschedule the game.

Without Wednesday night’s game, the Nittany Lions will have three straight road games — Sunday’s loss at Ohio State, Saturday’s game at Iowa and next week’s matchup at Indiana.
