Watch: Legendary MSU coach Tom Izzo praises Penn State’s Micah Shrewsberry
Hall of fame basketball coach Tom Izzo had a lot of positive things to say about Penn State’s Micah Shrewsberry after the Spartans’ 67-58 win on Wednesday night.
Izzo, who won a national title at the helm of Michigan State in 2000, said he is a firm believer that Shrewsberry is the right coach for the job at Penn State.
“I’d be wrapping my arms around him if I was a Penn State fan because he’s got a good 20-year stretch that he can be a hell of a coach,” he said.
