Penn State has picked up a second transfer portal commitment in two days.

Georgetown C Qudus Wahab announced his commitment to the Nittany Lions Thursday. He made the announcement via his Instagram account.

Wahab spent three of his four seasons at Georgetown with a year at Maryland in the 2021-2022 season. His return to Georgetown resulted in him recording 9.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game in 29 games played, which includes 25 starts.

The senior center helps fill a gap at center with last year’s starting center Kebba Njie currently in the transfer portal.

The addition of Wahab brings the Nittany Lions up to 8 scholarship players for next year. He joins incoming transfers Ace Baldwin Jr. (VCU), Nick Kern Jr. (VCU), Zach Hicks (Temple) and Puff Johnson (North Carolina) as well as returning freshmen Jameel Brown, Kanye Clary and Demetrius Lilley.

Both Njie and fellow freshman Evan Mahaffey remain in the transfer portal.
