Lady Lions announce season awards

Penn State freshman Teniya Page was named the Joanie O’Brien Most Outstanding Player at the team’s season awards banquet Monday.

Peyton Whitted earned the Most Improved Player and Academic Achievement Award, Brianna Banks received Collegiate Pride Defensive Player of the Year honors, Leah Knizner was selected as the Tom Caldwell Unsung Hero Award winner, Kaliyah Mitchell was named the Jeannette Goss Courage/Leadership Award winner, and Sarah McMurtry received the Robin Lombard Spirit Award.
