The Penn State football team — the defending Big Ten champion — is set to meet fans, sign autographs and hand out posters downtown during Tuesday evening.

The program announced Wednesday that it will continue its annual poster delivery from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday between Beaver and College avenues in downtown State College. Traditionally, a number of players walk downtown from the west to east while handing out posters and mingling with fans.

Fans who will not be downtown during that time can still pick up posters Wednesday at several campus destinations, such as the All Sports Museum, the Penn State Bookstore, the Penn State ticket offices and at several local businesses (Days Inn, Blaise Alexander, PSECU).

“Poster Pick Up Parties” will also be held in four cities — Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Harrisburg and Washington D.C. — from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The posters are free.

For information on where to pick up the posters in those cities, visit gopsusports.com.

The players participating in the downtown event have not been announced.

The 2017 season kicks off Sept. 2 against Akron at Beaver Stadium.
