Penn State football’s Torrence Brown carted off with leg injury
Penn State defensive end Torrence Brown was carted off late in the first quarter of Saturday night’s game at Beaver Stadium.
Before the cart arrived, trainers were checking the stability of Brown’s right knee. The senior pass-rusher was blocked low by Georgia State, taking a direct shot to the knee.
Brown, a starter and popular preseason choice to be a breakout player this season, was replaced by Shareef Miller.
There is not yet an update on his status, but he is obviously not expected to return. Coach James Franklin’s policy is not to address injuries — unless they are season-ending.
