Penn State regained its No. 4 spot.

The Nittany Lions moved from fifth to fourth in the newest Associated Press Top-25 poll, released Sunday afternoon. After dropping from fourth to fifth last week, Penn State’s 56-0 dominating win over Georgia State on Saturday was enough to bump the Nittany Lions up.

Penn State jumped Southern California. The Trojans needed two overtimes to beat a mediocre-at-best Texas squad 27-24 on Saturday night. USC came in at No. 5 in the poll.

Unsurprisingly, Alabama leads at No. 1, followed by Clemson and Oklahoma at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively. Oklahoma State, Washington, Michigan, Wisconsin and Ohio State round out the top-10.

Penn State hits the road for the first time this season, taking on Iowa at Kinnick Stadium in Week 4.
