Penn State football staying steady at No. 4 in AP poll
Penn State held firm in the rankings on Sunday.
After its thrilling 21-19 survival against Iowa at Kinnick Stadium on Saturday night, the Nittany Lions stayed at No. 4 in the newest edition of the Associated Press Top-25 Poll, which was released in the afternoon.
The top 4 stayed the same. After dismantling Vanderbilt, Alabama came in at No. 1, while Clemson and Oklahoma were Nos. 2 and 3, respectively. Southern California rounded out the top 5 following its win at Cal.
Washington and Georgia are Nos. 6 and 7, respectively, while TCU jumped into the top 10 at No. 9.
The Big Ten finished out the top 11 with Michigan, Wisconsin and Ohio State ranking Nos. 8, 10 and 11, respectively.
The No. 4 Nittany Lions face Indiana at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
