Penn State lost a member of its 2018 recruiting class Thursday night.
Four-star offensive tackle Antwan Reed decommitted by announcing on Twitter that he would open up his commitment.
His decision comes less than two weeks away from college football’s new early signing day on Dec. 20.
Reed — a 6-foot-6, 325-pound lineman — joined the Nittany Lions’ 2018 class at the Blue-White Game on April 22. Per 247 Sports, he has not taken any official or unofficial visits since, but has offers from Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Tennessee and more.

Penn State still has 20 players committed in this cycle. The Nittany Lions’ recruiting class ranks fifth nationally and second in the Big Ten, according to 247 Sports.
