Where can you find the Centre Daily Times’ 2020 NFL draft coverage?
After more than a month with essentially no sports — except iRacing and WrestleMania — football fans across the country finally have something to get excited about — the (virtual) NFL draft is here.
This year, instead of the football players hugging their family members and coaches and running on stage to receive their jersey, they’ll be sitting at home on their couches like the rest of us, learning their NFL fates via phone or online calls that will be broadcast live on ESPN and the NFL Network.
This week, the Centre Daily Times has been providing pre-draft coverage and analysis of when former Nittany Lions such as Yetur Gross-Matos, KJ Hamler, John Reid, Robert Windsor and Cam Brown might hear their names called. We’ll also be covering the draft as it unfolds Thursday through Saturday.
Because of the CDT’s print deadlines, draft coverage will not make it into the next day’s print and eEditions. To follow the CDT’s coverage digitally throughout the draft, visit CentreDaily.com, our Facebook page, or follow reporters Jon Sauber (@JonSauber) and Josh Moyer (@byJoshMoyer) or @psu_football and @cdt_sports on Twitter.
We’ll also be taking part in McClatchy’s Live NFL draft show Thursday on the Kansas City Star’s Facebook page, which will be archived for viewers to watch later.
We will be writing individual stories on each Penn State player selected, as well as following undrafted free agents, and an analysis after each day. All of that coverage will be available at CentreDaily.com. An overall analysis and stories about where each former Penn Stater ended up will appear in Monday’s print and eEditions.
We hope you enjoy this brief return of sports.
