Penn State football adds top-ranked player in Pennsylvania to class of 2023 commits

Penn State picked up another offensive line commit on Saturday.

Four-star interior offensive lineman Jven Williams (Wyomissing) announced on Twitter that he committed to the Nittany Lions’ 2023 class.

Williams is rated as the 87th-best player in his class, the sixth-ranked player at his position and the best player in the state of Pennsylvania, per On3.com. He becomes the fourth offensive lineman to commit to Penn State’s 2023 class, joining fellow 4-star interior offensive lineman Alex Birchmeier, along with 3-star linemen Joshua Miller and Anthony Donkoh. On3.com currently ranks Penn State as the 4th-ranked 2023 class and the No. 1 class in the Big Ten.

The Nittany Lions finished 113th in the Football Bowl Subdivision in rushing yards per game with 110.1 yards per game.
